Facial Procedures
The Center for Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery
Board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Kotis offers a variety of facial cosmetic procedures, both surgical and non-surgical, to combat the signs of aging, to bring the features into better proportion and alignment, and to create the youthful, attractive appearance you've always dreamed of.
Some of the more popular facial surgical procedures available at the site are described in the sections below:
- Rhinoplasty, or nose jobs.
Unlike the one-size-fits-all nose jobs of the past, today's cosmetic surgeons can bring the nose into just the right proportion and alignment for your face. Rhinoplasty is also frequently performed to address breathing problems.
- Facelift.
Facelifts are always a popular option with patients who don't want major changes to their features, but simply want to turn back the clock a few years and reverse the sagging skin, wrinkles, and drooping that are some of the most visible signs of aging. Facelifts are available as both full and partial procedures, depending on the type and severity of the problem.
- Blepharoplasty.
Blepharoplasty, or eyelid lift, is a procedure designed specifically to target drooping eyelids. For many patients, the delicate skin around the eye ages more rapidly than the rest of the face, so that the eyelids droop, sag, and give a tired, aged appearance. Blepharoplasty can eliminate these effects, making patients appear more youthful and alert.
- Facial implants.
Whether to create new facial proportions or simply to regain the facial proportions of youth, facial implants are a popular option to 'lift' the facial features. Facial implants can be used to raise the cheekbones, make a weak chin appear more prominent and proportional, or to recontour the jawline.
