Permanent hair removal is an increasingly popular cosmetic treatment, and it's one that has improved significantly with recent developments.
Laser hair removal is the most popular professional treatment for permanent removal of unwanted hair. Laser hair removal works by aiming a concentrated laser light at the area of the unwanted hair. This laser targets the underlying hair follicle, disabling those follicles that are currently in their growth phase. The laser will not, however, affect follicles that are not in their growth phase, so additional treatments may be required to eliminate all of the active hair follicles, and stop hair growth in the area.
