Juvederm Vollure is an FDA-approved filler that is designed to correct moderate to severe laugh and marionette lines for up to 18 months.
As the years pass by, your skin naturally loses some of its elasticity – resulting in deep wrinkles around the nose and mouth.
Juvederm Vollure was developed to add subtle volume to these key areas, smoothing away unwanted creases and restoring a naturally youthful appearance that endures for up to 18 months.
Juvederm Vollure is composed of hyaluronic acid (HA) – a naturally-occurring substance found in the body that diminishes with age.
By infusing your face with a fresh supply of HA, Vollure supports aging facial structures and tissues that have lost volume and elasticity. It also retains moisture to keep your complexion looking fresh and supple.

Laugh lines and marionette lines are static wrinkles that are present even when your face is at rest. They develop when your skin loses its natural supply of hyaluronic acid (HA) and collagen.

Your Vollure injections will be done in the comfort and privacy of Dr. Kotis’s Chicago office. The entire procedure will take about 20 minutes from start to finish, at which point you will be free to return to work and your normal daily routine right away.
When you arrive at the office, you will be seated in a comfortable reclining chair and one of our technicians will begin cleaning the injection site. We will then use a fine gauge needle to place the filler beneath your skin. To ensure an even distribution, we may lightly massage the area as well.
Because Vollure is formulated with small amounts of a local anesthetic, the injection process should be very comfortable. At the most, you may feel a slight pinch as the filler is placed.
The side effects that are associated with Vollure are very mild and should clear up in about two weeks. They include:
